Sri Lanka’s coronavirus death toll rises to 124

Sri Lanka has reported two more deaths due to the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, the Department of Government Information confirmed a short while ago.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka’s current death toll from the virus is at 124.

One of the deceased is a 66-year-old woman from Chilaw who had suffered a cardiac arrest due to COVID-19 infection. She had passed away upon admittance to the Chilaw Hospital on November 30.

A 67-year-old man, too, has passed away on November 30 at his residence in Colombo 13. The cause of death has been determined as a stroke and COVID-19 related pneumonia.
