Travel restrictions imposed in Bogambara

Health authorities have imposed travel restrictions in Bogambara area in Kandy after 13 more positive cases of Covid-19 were identified.

Thereby, the total number of infections detected from Bogambara has climbed to 25.

Earlier today, the Central Province Governor announced that 45 schools located within the Kandy city limits and 05 schools in Akurana Pradeshiya Sabha area will remain closed until the 11th of November.

These schools were scheduled to reopen on Monday (07) but it was pushed back due to the coronavirus situation in the area.
