42 schools in Kandy city to reopen from Monday

Forty-two out of 45 schools within Kandy city limits will be reopened on the 14th of December (Monday), says the Central Province Governor.

Accordingly, Trinity College, Kalaimagal College and Takshila College will not be reopened next Monday.

Following an uptick in the Covid-19 infections in the area, a total of 45 schools remained closed until further notice.
