Hejaaz Hizbullah contracts COVID-19

Attorney-at-Law Hejaaz Hizbullah, who is currently under detention of Criminal Investigation Department (CID), has tested positive for COVID-19.

He was detained by the CID for allegedly having links to the Easter Sunday terror attacks in 2019.

A campaign dedicated to the release of the lawyer “Justice for Hejaaz” has tweeted that Hejaaz Hizbullah was to be produced before courts yesterday, however, the CID had informed that he is positive for COVID-19.

The tweet further read the lawyer is currently under quarantine.
