AG concludes action in 26,749 criminal cases within 2 years

The Attorney General has concluded action in a total of 26,749 criminal cases for the period commencing from January 01, 2019 to December 31, 2020.
The Attorney General has also forwarded 14,083 indictments to High Courts during this two-year period, the AG’s Coordinating Officer, State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said.
