Vavuniya-bound train derails near Colombo Fort station

A train derailment has been reported near Colombo Fort Railway Station today (February 13), says the Railway Control Room.
Vavuniya-bound ‘Rajarata Rejini’ express train which had departed from Matara had derailed in this manner.
According to the Railway Control Room, trains operating on the coastal line could be delayed owing to the situation.
