Contraband including drugs thrown into Kalutara Prison seized

A parcel containing contraband thrown over the Kalutara Prison walls has been seized by the authorities.

According to reports, 03 mobile phones, 05 lighters, 45g of narcotics suspected to be cannabis, 04 tobacco leaves and 05g of crystal methamphetamine also known as ‘Ice’ were inside the parcel.

An investigation into the incident has been launched by the officials.
