142 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has confirmed another 142 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus in the country.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 confirmed in the country thus far to 90,656.

Presently 2,799 patients infected with the virus are being treated at hospitals while total recoveries has reached 87,306. 

The death toll due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the country stands at 551.
