COVID-related death confirmed from Nallur

Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll climbed to 552, as a woman from Nallur in Jaffna fell victim to the virus.

The 63-ear-old was under medical care at Jaffna Teaching Hospital at the time of her passing on Monday (March 22), the Department of Government Information said.

The cause of death was recorded as breathing difficulties, cough, diarrhea and COVID pneumonia.
