One dead, three injured in canister explosion at Madola

One person has died in an explosion after a person tried to cut open a canister, says the Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana.
The incident has taken place at a scrap iron shop in Madola, Avissawella.
According to reports, three others have sustained injuries in the mishap.
Avissawella Police has launched an investigation into the incident and the Government Analyst has been called to the site of the accident, DIG Rohana said further.
