Sri Lanka’s Covid-19 recoveries surpass 91,000

The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry says that another 127 persons have recovered from the novel coronavirus and have been discharged from hospital.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 recoveries in the country thus far to 91,044.

A total of 93,993 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the country so far while 2,358 of them are currently under medical care.

The death toll due to the virus in Sri Lanka is 591.
