Monday’s public holiday not for banks

The public holiday on April 12, Monday, will not be applicable for state and private banks, the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration stated issuing a notice.
Monday (April 12) was declared a public holiday by the government.
This was in view of the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival.
