Six arrested with 13 kilograms of Ice

Six individuals have been arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) over the possession of narcotic drugs.

The arrest had taken place at the Nawandama area in Ja-Ela Police Division, according to Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana.

Reportedly, 13 kilograms of Ice (Methamphetamine) have been found on the suspects.

Four male suspects and 02 female suspects have been arrested and been brought to the PNB, DIG Rohana said.

Further investigations have been launched by the PNB.

The general public is requested to provide any information regarding drug trafficking by contacting the hotline 1997 and successful informants will be rewarded by the Police, DIG Ajith Rohana further said.
