At least 8 vehicle collisions on Southern Expressway disrupt traffic

At least eight collisions involving more than a dozen of vehicles have been reported between Gelanigama and Dodangoda interchanges on the Southern Expressway.

Thereby, traffic towards Matara on the expressway has been interrupted owing to the situation.

The Road Development Authority (RDA) has urged motorists to maintain speed and distance while driving.
