Ranil preparing to assume UNP National List MP seat

Leader of United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremesinghe is expected to assume the party’s National List MP seat in Parliament within the next month.

UNP Chairman Vajira Abeywardena revealed this during a media briefing held in Galle.

The former prime minister is preparing to represent the UNP in Parliament following a unanimous decision taken by the party, Abeywardena said further.
