Three farmers dead after being struck by lightning

Three farmers have died after being struck by lightning while working the fields at Thannimurippu in Mullaitivu.
According to reports, the three farmers died on the spot in the incident which took place last evening (April 15).
Despite the extreme heat prevailing in the area, thundershowers were experienced in the evening, Ada Derana reporter said.
