Mohan Samaranayake assumes duties as DG of Govt. Information Dept.

Mohan Samaranayake has assumed duties as the new Director-General of the Department of Government Information a short while ago.

Samaranayke had been serving as the Director-General of the President’s Media Division before he was appointed as the head of the Government Information Department.

His appointment comes with the resignation of the previous Director-General of the Department Nalaka Kaluwewa.
