Sri Lanka’s COVID figures up by 520 new cases

A total of 520 more persons were tested positive for COVID-19 in Sri Lanka today (April 21) as the confirmed cases count reached 98,570.

In the meantime, the recoveries count recorded in the country is currently at 93,884.

According to statistics 4,056 active cases are still under medical care at designated hospitals and treatment centres.

Sri Lanka has also witnessed 630 fatalities due to the outbreak of the pandemic.
