892 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Sri Lanka

The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) reported that another 892 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus today (26).

Eight of the new cases are from the prisons cluster while the remaining are associated with the Peliyagoda cluster.

This brings the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 reported in the country thus far to 102,271.

Meanwhile the tally of cases from the Minuwagoda, Peliyagoda and prisons clusters climb to 96,638 with this.
