Sri Lanka records highest daily PCR tests

The highest number of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests per day in Sri Lanka was carried out yesterday (29), officials said.
A total of 23,730 PCR tests were carried out within yesterday (29), according to the Health Ministry’s Deputy Director General (Laboratory Services).
He stated that around 2.7 million PCR tests have been carried out in the country thus far.
