21 areas isolated in Ratnapura District; Narampitiya isolation lifted

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva announced the isolation of twenty Grama Niladhari divisions and one area in Ratnapura District as well as an estate in Nuwara-Eliya District with immediate effect. 

Meanwhile the isolation of Narampitiya Grama Niladhari division in Panadura South police area in the Kalutara District has been lifted.

Accordingly, the following GN divisions will be isolated until further notice:

Ratnapura District
Rakwana police area

  • Dolekanda
  • Rambuka
  • Kathlana
  • Thanabela
  • Ilubakanda
  • Pothupitiya South

Kalawana police area

  • Panapola
  • Kudupitiya
  • Kudaha
  • Delgoda East
  • Delgoda West
  • Dawgalagama
  • Dandagamuwa
  • Koswatta
  • Tapassarakanda
  • Wathurawa
  • Wembiyagoda
  • Veddagala East
  • Weddagala West
  • Davugalagama
  • Both sides of the main road from the main city in Kalawana West GN division to Dolahena Junction.

 

Nuwara-Eliya District
Lindula police area

  • St. Coombs Estate

 

Isolation will be lifted in:

Kalutara Disitrct
Panadura South police area

  • Narampitiya
