Island-wide travel restriction from 11 pm to 4 am daily

An island-wide travel restriction will be imposed daily between 11.00 pm and 04.00 am, Commander of Army General Shavendra Silva stated.
This travel restriction will be implemented until the 31st of May, 2021.
Only transport of essential and food items will be allowed to travel during this period, the Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
