AG seeks clarification from IGP on pending probes into Easter attacks

The Attorney General, in a letter directed to Inspector-General of Police, has sought confirmation of evidence against 42 suspects in Category A of the Easter Sunday terror attacks.

His Coordinating Officer State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne stated that the Attorney General has also sought clarification on any pending investigations.

He has pointed out that probes into five of the suspects are incomplete.
