Triple role for CP Chief Minister

The Central Province Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake has taken over three ministries of the Council. He took oaths before Central Province Governor at his office.

 

This was after former Provincial Ministers Radha Krishnan, Nimal Piyatissa and Eric Weerawardena were nominated to contest the upcoming General Elections on April 8.

 

Chief Minister Ekanayake said the Ministries of Industries & Sports, Agriculture and Health will come under his purview following the resignation of the relevant Ministers. – (Govt. Information Dept)
