A man, who was arrested for violating quarantine regulations, has jumped out of the vehicle while he was being escorted to the police station.
However, the 42-year-old succumbed to injuries this evening (June 06) after being admitted to hospital.
The deceased was identified as a resident of Waththalpola in Panadura North.
