Inclement weather claims 19 lives

The adverse weather prevailing on the island has claimed a total of 19 deaths so far, the Disaster Management Center confirmed.

Meanwhile, one person is still reported missing while another 05 are injured, the DMC said.

A total of 219,870 persons in 10 districts have been afflicted by inclement weather conditions.
