1,835 fresh cases of Covid-19 reported in Sri Lanka

The Ministry of health says that another 1,835 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus today (17).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases confirmed in Sri Lanka thus far to 232,527.

Meanwhile the total number of coronavirus recoveries in the country has risen to 195,434.

The death toll from the pandemic stands at 2,374.
