Two stationery shops in Pettah ravaged by sudden fire

Two buildings located on the Bodhiraja Mawatha in Pettah have been ravaged by a fire that occurred early this morning (June 24).

Reportedly, the two buildings are shops that sell stationery items.

The fire had completely destroyed the two shops.

The cause of the fire has not been determined as of yet.

Colombo Fire Brigade had deployed 11 fire trucks to stop the fire from spreading any further.
