Coronavirus recoveries up by 1,888

The Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry says that another 1,888 coronavirus patients have been discharged after completing their recovery. 

This brings the total number of Covid-19 recoveries in the country to 227,840.

Sri Lanka has reported over 260,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus while over 28,000 of them are currently under medical care. 

The death toll due to the virus stands at 3,077.
