Man shot dead in Urugasmanhandiya

An individual has been shot dead in front of their own residence at around 10.15 pm last night (July 02).
The victim is a 30-year-old male residing in the Thewatta Junction area in Urugasmanhandiya.
Reportedly, the persons who had fired the shots have fled the area.
Investigations into the incident are carried out by the Urugasmanhandiya Police.
