NFF MP M. Muzzamil today addressing a press conference said that the Government should conduct an investigation on how Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka who is being held at the Navy Headquarters pending the Court Martial decision smuggled a handwritten letter to the Channel 4 in UK.

Serious action should be taken against those who helped smuggle this letter, Muzzamil added.

He claimed that the LTTE’s global network who is trying to resurrect the military wing of the now destroyed LTTE would find this act as motivational and supportive.
