Suspect arrested with heroin worth Rs 20 million at Meegoda

A person has been arrested while in possession of 2 kilograms and 450 grams of heroin at Meegoda Deniya within the Meegoda police area in Padukka.
The seized drug haul is estimated to be worth around Rs 20 million.
Police said the suspect was arrested by officers of the Western Province South Crimes Division.
The arrested suspect is a 40-year-old resident of Meegoda Deniya.
Western Province South Crimes Division is conducting further investigations.
