Sri Lanka registers 3,588 new cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health today (August 30) confirmed another 3,588 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

All new Covid-19 cases reported today are associated with the New Year cluster. 

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases identified in the country thus far to 435,107.

Sri Lanka has reported a total of 371,992 recoveries from the virus so far.
