Vehicles carrying UNF supporters attacked in Kurunegala

A convoy of vehicles carrying United National Front supporters was attacked in the Kurunegala town this evening and one vehicle has been completely damaged, says UNF candidate Akila Viraj Kariyawasam.

 

Two persons injured during the attack have been admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital, he added. The vehicles were part of the group that was attending a rally of United National Party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe in Kurunegala.
