Govt to buy Nadu paddy from farmers at Rs 55 per kilo

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided that the government will buy Nadu paddy from farmers at a rate of Rs 55 per one kilogram.

This is a Rs 5 increase from the existing price of Rs 50 per a kilo, said Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage.
