1,628 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed

The Ministry of Health today (September 14) confirmed another 1,628 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

All new Covid-19 cases reported today are associated with the New Year cluster. 

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases identified in the country thus far to 490,110.

Sri Lanka has reported a total of 415,649 recoveries from the virus so far.
