Paddy Marketing Board chairman quits

The chairman of the Paddy Marketing Board, Dr. Jatal Mannapperuma, has submitted his resignation from the post.
When Ada Derana inquired him on the matter, he stated that there were several reasons to step down from the post.
He said, “No one resigns without a reason. There were several reasons [for the resignation]. I don’t like to talk about it much.”
