918 new COVID cases added to total count

The Ministry of Health today (September 23) confirmed another 918 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
All new Covid-19 cases reported today are associated with the New Year cluster.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases identified in the country thus far to 509,590.
Sri Lanka has reported a total of 451,742 recoveries from the virus so far.
