Liquor outlets ordered to close on April 08, 09, 13 & 14

The Government has directed all liquor sales outlet owners to keep their establishments closed on April 8, 9, 13 and 14, says the Government Information Department.

 

Meanwhile, the Government has declared Friday April 9 as a public and special bank holiday, Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration D. Dissanayake said.

 

Labour Minister Athauda Senevirathne has requested the heads of all state corporations, statutory boards and other employers to grant leave on Friday, April 9, to all their employees.
