Power outage hits Southern Province & parts of Western Province

The electricity supply for parts of the island has been disrupted today (October 05) due to a breakdown of sub-grids, says the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).

According to reports, Pannipitiya, Dehiwala, Ratmalana, Horana, Matugama areas in the Western Province and the entirety of Southern Province have been affected by the power failure.
