Sri Lanka reports 582 new cases of Covid-19

The Ministry of Health reported that another 582 persons have tested positive for the novel coronavirus today. 

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases confirmed in the country thus far to 522,584.

31,116 infected patients are currently under home-based care and medical care at hospitals and treatment centers across the island.

Meanwhile total coronavirus recoveries has also risen to 478,326.
