The Health Ministry reports that another 149 persons have tested positive for Covid-19 today, pushing the daily count of new cases to 561.
This increases the tally of confirmed cases of the virus in the country to 536,645 thus far.
19,302 infected patients are currently being treated across the island while total recoveries have risen to 503,703.
Meanwhile the death toll in the country climbed to 13,640 today.
