CPSTL seeks cooperation for continuous supply

All attempts are being made to maintain an uninterrupted supply of fuel island-wide, says Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Ltd., chairman Major General M.R.W. de Soysa.

However, he added that reports of a fuel shortage have been received from certain outstation areas like Dambulla and Kurunegala. Maj. Gen. Soysa attributes this to the stocking of extra fuel by vehicle owners due to the seasonal holidays.

The CPSTL chairman urges the private fuel bowser operators to resume their normal supply activities over the weekend and cooperate in averting any possible shortages.
