New Examinations Commissioner-General to be appointed

A new Commissioner General will be appointed to the Department of Examinations, the Education Ministry has announced.

Accordingly, the Additional Secretary of School Affairs, L.M.D. Dharmasena is scheduled to take office as the new examinations chief.

The appointment will follow the retirement of current Examinations Commissioner-General B. Sanath Pujitha, who has been serving in the post since 2017.
