Train collides with van at railway crossing

One person has been wounded and hospitalized following an accident on the railway crossing at Kandegoda in Ambalangoda this morning (28).

The ‘Ruhunu Kumari’ train traveling from Matara to Colombo had collided with a van at the crossing, according to the Department of Railways. 

Only the driver of the van had been traveling in the vehicle at the time while he had been admitted to hospital with injuries.
