Youth who attended Zahran’s classes under arrest

A youth who attended the classes conducted by the ringleader of the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks Zahran Hashim in Sippiwas taken into custody.
The arrest was made by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID).
According to the police spokesman, the 25-year-old in question had aided the Easter Sunday bombers.
The suspect is charged with having links with the perpetrators of the carnage, aiding and abetting extremist activities and concealing information.
He will be detained for further investigations, SSP Nihal Thalduwa said further.
