Police said that a hand grenade has been recovered from the premises of a church in Borella.
The grenade has been discovered inside the church located opposite the Welikada Prison.
Meanwhile the Police Spokesman said that 03 suspects have been taken into custody over the incident.
Police Special Task Force (STF) personnel have arrived at the location to diffuse the hand grenade.
