All liquor stores, meat shops to remain closed on Feb. 04

All wine stores, bars, pubs, and restaurants where liquor is sold in the country will be closed on February 04, in view of Independence Day.

The Secretary to the State Ministry of Home Affairs, N.H.M. Chithrananda announced this in a communiqué issued today.

In addition, animal slaughterhouses and meat sale outlets will also remain closed for Independence Day.
