Foreigner falls to his death at Kithal Ella Falls

A foreign tourist has reportedly fallen to his death at the Kithal Ella Falls in the Ella police area.
Police said that the incident had occurred last evening (27) and that the deceased is a 33-year-old German national.
The remains have been placed at the mortuary of the Badulla Hospital while the postmortem examination is to be performed today (28).
Ella Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
