VIDEO: UNP reform proposals postponed to May 17 - Gayantha

The UNP reforms committee wants more time to formulate their proposals and the final report will be issued on Monday(17), UNP spokesman Gayantha Karunaratillake told reporters today. The UNP reforms committee is headed by UNP MP Joseph Michael Perera.

 

 

UNP Western Provincemember Mujibur Rahman speaking at the same press conference said that the alleged ‘illegal’ dwellings brought down in Slave Islandwere in fact legal dwellings built on lands given by then President R. Premadasa in 1986 with the full deeds.
